Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does a public adjuster do?

We represent you when it comes to insurance claims to make sure you get a just and fair settlement during the claims process. Our services include reviewing policies, documenting damages, and negotiating with your insurance company.

  • How much does a public adjuster cost?

First of all, you pay nothing up front as our client. We only get paid when you do! In accordance with Florida law, our fee is typically a percentage of the recovered amount: up to 20% for non-emergency claims or 10% for up to one year after a state of emergency has been declared.

  • When should I hire a public adjuster?

We can help you at any stage of the process, but we suggest hiring us as early as possible for the best results. We can even help with complex claims, denied insurance claims, or underpaid settlements.

  • Can you help with denied claims?

Yes! We can review your policy and strengthen your appeal. If needed, we can refer the claim to an attorney for legal action. Just because the insurance company has made a decision doesn't mean the claim is over.

  • What types of claims do you handle?

We manage fire damage claims, water damage claims, hurricane damage claims, mold damage claims, and more for homeowners and businesses.

  • What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Central Florida, including Polk County, Orange County, Hillsborough County, Pasco County, and Pinellas County.

  • How long does the claim process take?

The claim process for typical cases can take anywhere from 30 to 90 days. More complex cases may take as many as nine months. The length of the process depends on factors like the claim’s complexity and any disputes.

  • Can you help with Citizens Insurance claims after their recent protocol change?

Citizens Insurance no longer lists public adjusters on claim checks. We can help with claims despite this change.

  • Are public adjusters necessary?

Filing and negotiating an insurance claim on your own can be complex, time-consuming, and overwhelming. A public adjuster can level the playing field by advocating for your best interests.

  • How do I get started?
